Where to Ring In New Year's Eve on the North Fork

Now that the presents are opened and Santa's headed back to the North Pole, it's time to start thinking about New Year's Eve.

Here's a list of some places where New Year's Eve bashes are being planned on the North Fork. To include your business or eatery on the list, add comments below or email details to Lisa.Finn@patch.com. 

- The Harborfront Inn at Greenport is offering a holiday package to ring in the New Year for $199 per night for a superior room or $209 per night for a deluxe room. The package is available for check-in on Monday, Dec. 30 and check-out on Wed., Jan. 1. The package includes: Accommodations for two nights, New Year’s Eve cocktail party hosted by the hotel manager in the lobby, including appetizers and champagne, and complimentary continental breakfast. Add Sunday, Dec. 29 for 50 percent off regular rates.

-Celebrate New Year's Eve, beginning at 4 p.m., at Restaurant Alure in Southold. First Seating  4 to 6 p.m., $35 per person; second seating 6:30 to 10 p.m., $55 per person.  For reservations call 631-876-5300.  See full menus here.

- New Years Eve Dinner at aMano in Mattituck will feature two special menus; regular menu also available.  First seating from 4 to 6 p.m., $35 per person; second seating from 6:30 to 10 p.m., $55 per person. To see complete menus, click here. For reservations call 631-298-4800.

Noah’s  in Greenport is hosting a five-course wine pairing dinner with Sparkling Pointe in celebration of the New Year. The menu will feature local dishes crafted by Chef Noah Schwartz paired with Sparkling Pointe wines. The cost is $100, plus tax and gratuity. Menu includes: Crispy Tuna Tartar Tacos, Cucumber, jalapeno, avocado and seaweed salad, 2009 Brut; Local Fluke Crudo, Organic Greek extra virgin olive oil, Amagansett sea salt and lemon, 2008 Blanc de Blancs; Roasted Local Beet Risotto, Aged Catapano goat cheese and micro beet greens, 2008 Blanc de Noir; Pan Roasted Filet Mignon, Sauteed Long Island Maitake mushrooms and potato puree with truffle hollandaise, 2003 Brut Seduction; Trio of Crème Brule, Lavender, orange and vanilla, 2010 Cuvee Carnaval.

Lucharitos in Greenport will celebrate New Year's Eve with a free champagne toast at midnight, burlesque dancers, drink specials, an "old school" DJ mix, and a ten-second countdown shot challenge.

- The Soundview Restaurant in Greenport will feature a New Year's Eve a la carte menu:  App Menu  and Dinner Menu. Guests have a choice of piano bar or dancing in othe Gold Room with DJ Anthony. Free champagne toast and celebration, guests can head over for dinner or reveling. $20 cover charge for celebration and dancing only. For reservations, call 631-477-0666.

- The Frisky Oyster in Greenport will offer three seatings, at 6, 8 and 10 p.m., featuring the eatery's a la carte menu and DJ Lane with music and dancing under a sea of balloons until 2 a.m.

- Legends in New Suffolk has double reason to celebrate — New Year's Eve and their 20th anniversary. Legends opened originally on Dec. 31, 1993; this year, Legends will feature no cover charge and live music by Steve from Doubleplay Entertainment from 8:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary champagne toast.

Front Street Station in Greenport will be having enhanced dinner and lunch specials for New Year's Eve. Highlights include single servings of Moet in guests' own corked bottles, lobster dinners with all the fixings, signature drinks, fresh local clams and oysters, their own North Fork Chowder, as well as the regular menu for those who want to celebrate with their favorite dishes. There is no fixed menu and no cover. Those that are taking advantage of the Harborfront's special please take note that Front Street Station offers free room service for those who want to celebrate in private. Early evening revelers: For each two dinner entrees/specials ordered from 2 to 5 p.m., receive a Front Street Station Gift Certificate for $20.14 to use on a future visit.
