Susan Dingle, Neighbor

Although a relatively new resident, I have North Fork roots that go back before the revolutionary war. What that means is that I have more relatives under the ground than on top of it. My father left Peconic in the 1930s for the Art Students League in NYC, and came back to the NF after he retired. I'm a published poet with a chapbook, The Poetry of Well-Being, leading creative writing workshops at substance abuse rehabs as well as with other groups in the community. My new thing is stand-up therapy, which is my public practice as a therapist, in which I use humor to promote well-being and mental health awareness.
