Cops: Woman Busted for DWI in Mattituck

Police said the woman had crossed over the double yellow line.

A South Setauket woman was busted for driving drunk in Mattituck on Friday, police said. 

According to Southold Town police, Marie Connolly, 50, was nabbed on Route 25 and Wickham Avenue at 11:13 p.m. after she was observed heading westbound and crossed over the double yellow dividing lines into the eastbound lane of traffic.

Police said Connolly was given and failed several roadside sobriety tests. She was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.

She was transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and held for arraignment.
