See what ice cream your neighbors are eating on hot days.

Nothing says 'summer treat' like ice cream, and with temps topping 75 degrees Thursday and highs around 80 degrees expected Friday and Saturday, a couple of local ice cream shops gave us their most popular hot day flavors.

Magic Fountain owner Ali Choudry said that of the ice cream shop's 135 flavors – 40 of which are on display at any given moment, a few of the favorites include:

  • Lots of Stuff (M&M's, cookie dough, fudge)
  • Coconut Avocado
  • Salted Caramel

Scoops owner Lisa Kaytis, in Cutchogue, said favorites of her shop's 35 offerings tend to be:
  • Minty Mint Chip
  • Cappuccino Crunch
  • Moose Tracks (3 different kinds: vanilla, chocolate and mint)
