When Lou Nardillo moved his Cabinets Plus business to Aquebogue, he had one thought in mind -- to get off of Route 58 in Riverhead, where the business had been located.
"There was a lot of traffic, people just speeding by, trying to get out of Riverhead," he said.
The goal was to find a location where customers could park leisurely and spend time in the shop pondering their kitchen redesign and custom cabinetry options, Nardolillo said.
The new location, at 700 Main Road, by the corner of Church Lane — and the site of the old post office — has brought in a steady stream of clientele, he added.
