Marine Meadows of Cornell Cooperative Extension, Neighbor

Marine Meadows is the community based component of Cornell Cooperative Extension's eelgrass restoration program. Using the burlap disk method, we transplant eelgrass in our local bays to provide a habitat for important species of finfish and shellfish, to protect our shorelines from erosion, and to improve the overall health of our estuaries.
