Another transplanted Midwesterner, originally from Chicago, she found her way to the North Fork.  Educated at the University of Wisconsin, after marrying a New Yorker, she moved to Roslyn and completed her undergraduate degree at Post College with dual majors in Journalism and Fine Arts.  Her writing took a back seat to the arts and she began her career in  office and then home design.  Ultimately she became the consultant to the home furnishing industry while working at the Design Library in Manhattan.  Exposed to the bastions of the design world, as she worked with Ralph Lauren, Raymond Waites and John Loring of Tiffany she helped create many of their home design licensee products.

Concurrently, volunteerism brought her to the National Council of Jewish Women and she became the President of her local section and then went on to National Membership.  Though many opportunites for leadership training, she began to write for their bulletins as well as design trade magazines in which she had already been featured .  She moved to Oyster Bay Cove, began writing for the Oyster Bay Guardian.   Covering all phases of local news, she then came to Peconic and joined the Suffolk Life Newspaper where she reported on the goings on in and around Town Hall.

Always finding politics and quality of life issues enthralling she now joins NorthFork.Patch.com with great enthusiasm.
