Southold Town Police charge a Southold man with drunk driving after a Friday night car accident.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. David Riddell, 35, of Southold, was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 18 at 10:02 p.m. after he left the roadway and struck two telephone poles, police said. After investigation, Riddell was found to be intoxicated, arrested for DWI and transported to Eastern Long Island Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the accident, police said. He was released a short time later and was transported to police headquarters in Peconic pending arraignment.

Southold Town Police report a May 13 DWI charge.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. Constantinos Andreakos, 33, of Bayside, was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 13 at 8:11 p.m., after Southold Town Police stopped him for failing to maintain his lane on Route 25, police said. Andreakos was found to be intoxicated, was arrested and transported to police headquarters in Peconic where he was held to await arraignment.

Southold Town Police charge two drivers with driving while intoxicated this past weekend.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. • Gerald Leskody, 50, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 13 at 6:14 p.m. after he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Eugenes Road in Cutchogue and was found to be intoxicated, police said. Southold Town Police charge three people with driving while intoxicated this past weekend.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. • Raymond Warenik III, 19, of West Islip, was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 6 at 3:51 a.m. on Route 25 in Mattituck after police stopped him in a 2009 Dodge to question him about a criminal mischief incident that had occurred earlier in the evening, police said. He was found to be operating his vehicle while impaired by alcohol and was arrested, transported to police headquarters in Peconic, processed, and released on cash bail to return to Southold Town Justice Court at a later date, police said. • Andrea D. Southold Town Police charge a Mattituck man with DWI after he hit a house on Cox Neck Road and fled the scene.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. Stephen J. Tuthill Jr., 23, of Mattituck, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident in Mattituck on April 28 at 10:21 p.m. Police said Tuthill was operating a 2009 Honda west on Westphalia Road, when he failed to stop at an intersection, crossed over Cox Neck Road and struck a guy wire, a tree, and a house. Tuthill then left the scene and was located at his residence shortly thereafter, police said. He was found to be intoxicated, arrested, transported to police headquarters in Peconic and held for arraignment.

Southold Town Police charge an East Marion woman with driving while intoxicated.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. Corinne Fitting, 53, of East Marion, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday at 1:59 a.m., after she was observed crossing over the yellow line on Route 48 in Greenport, police said. Fitting admitted to drinking prior to driving and failed roadside sobriety tests, police said. She was arrested and transported to police headquarters in Peconic where she was processed and lodged.

Southold Town Police charge a Southold woman, who was traveling with her two children in Mattituck Sunday night, with aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Elizabeth Strauss, 38, of Southold, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated under Leandra’s Law and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child on Sunday at 9:40 p.m., after police stopped her for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Mattituck, police said. Strauss was traveling with her two children under the age of 15 in the vehicle at the time of the traffic stop, police said. Southold Town Police charge a Laurel man with driving while intoxicated in Laurel on Sunday.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. Karl Novak, 55, of Laurel was charged with driving while intoxicated on March 11 at 7 p.m., after police responded to an anonymous report of a possible drunk driver in a 2007 Chevy pickup truck heading west on Route 48 in Cutchogue, police said. Police observed Novak failing to stay within a traffic lane on Route 48 and found him to be intoxicated, police said. Novak failed roadside sobriety tests, was arrested and transported to police headquarters in Peconic where he was processed and lodged in a cell awaiting arraignment, police said.

Southold Town Police charge a Southold woman with driving while intoxicated after she crashed into a pole on Monday.
The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions. Linda Evangelista, 57, of Southold, was charged with driving while intoxicated on March 5 at 1:35 p.m. after she lost control of her vehicle as she drove north on Boisseau Avenue in Southold. Evangelista attempted a left-hand turn onto Route 48 and struck a utility pole on the north side of the highway, police said. She was found to be in an intoxicated condition, was arrested and transported to police headquarters in Peconic for processing, police said.
