Before Sunday's freeze took hold of the North Fork, residents were amazed at some of the plants in bloom in their yards in the middle of January, vintners were a little worried about their fragile vines if temperatures suddenly dropped — and the rest of us sent in our guesses of Sunday's playoff score between the Packers and the Giants.
