At Wolffer Estate Vineyard in Sagaponack, owner Frank Scarola and winemaker Roman Roth make about 500 cases out of grapes purchased from North Fork growers. Scaraola wines, such as Cappella chardonnay and Masseria merlot, can be found at the recently opened Cedar House Bed and Breakfast in Mattituck and in restaurants across Long Island and New York City. Scarola wines will soon be planted on about an acre of land behind Cedar House Bed and Breakfast.
