This beach features special wheelchairs that allow visitors that need them to use the beach. Parking is by permit only.</p> <p>For private events, a facility use permit application must be filed with the Riverhead Town Clerk's office. This beach also has a Piping Plover Nesting area, which is off limits to the public, through June.</p>
