Mattituck Park District Office

Since 1941, the Mattituck Park District has maintained and enhanced nine properties in Mattituck — beaches,More athletic fields, a boat ramp and nature preserves — a total of 73 acres. The properties are private to residents of the park district, which includes parts of Laurel. Guest passes are available for $15.</p> <p>Mattituck Park District commissioners meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7pm at the park district's office on Peconic Bay Boulevard on the grounds of Veterans Memorial Park. Work sessions are held the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm.</p> <p>Residents can vote on the park district budget for the following year in August and for a park district commissioner, whose term is three years, in November.</p>

Mattituck Creek Boat Launch and Park

Tidal wetlands, private homes and anchored boats of all types surround this boat ramp located north of Route 48 at theMore end of Love Lane in Mattituck. A park just east of the ramp includes restrooms and shower facilities, a barbecue grill and picnic tables for boaters. It costs $15 to use the ramp and to obtain a key for the facilities, which is available at the Mattituck Park District office on Peconic Bay Boulevard. The boat ramp's environmentally-friendly parking lot is paved with permeable material and features informational signs about reducing pollution in the Peconic Estuary.
Peconic Bay Softball Field and Beach

Locally known as the "Mattituck Yacht Club Beach," this small but sandy bay-front getaway is tucked away on Peconic Bay,More just south of Peconic Bay Boulevard in Mattiuck. The beach does not have a lifeguard. Mattituck Yacht Club, whose members often host sailing competitions, is located on the west side of the Mattituck Park District beach. The park also has a softball field, which is available for league use and open play.
Veterans Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial Park is a popular bayfront destination south of Peconic Bay Boulevard between the dead ends of BayMore Avenue and Marlene Lane in Mattituck. With sweeping views of Peconic Bay, it features a lifeguarded sandy beach and swim area, a fenced-in playground, horseshoe pits, a barbecue and picnic area, and a community building. The Mattituck Park District office is also located here. The park is available for private parties, which can be booked in advance through the park district.
Bailie Beach Park

This quiet beach at the end of Bailie Beach Road features grand views of the Long Island Sound and Mattituck InletMore — views enhanced by  fiery sunsets on warm summer evenings. Maintained by the Mattituck Park District staff, Bailie Beach Lodge is tucked away in the grassy dunes  and is often used by Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops. The lodge, which houses a large commercial kitchen, is also available to rent from the park district for private functions.
Aldrich Lane Park

This large park located across the street from Laurel Cemetery has soccer and lacrosse fields, a baseball field and anMore outdoor basketball court with six hoops. The athletic facilities can be used only with a permit from the Mattituck Park District office. The park district's grounds and maintenance buildings are also located here.
