The Jedediah Hawkins Inn and Luce and Hawkins is a combination inn and fine-dining experience. Located in what some…More say was a stop on the underground railroad and what others say was a home to rum runners, the Jedediah Hawkins Inn is a historic landmark full of secret passages and mystery. Each of the six inn rooms offers an in-room fireplace, quality linens, and natural bath products. Guests of the inn have full access to the property. From the pond outside, gazebo, kitchen garden, pathways, and chicken coop, guests can wander around the property, enjoy a casual meal outside or just relax. In-room massages can be arranged.
Owner and celebrity chef Keith Luce has returned to the area to bring his vision of wholesome, fresh food served in an historic location to the North Fork. Much of the produce is grown in the on-site garden. Fresh eggs are supplied by the inn's own flock. The focus at Luce and Hawkins is fresh, natural, local produce. The menu is updated regularly to reflect fresh produce. Luce's Landing is the less formal of the two restaurants on-site and offers a country cafe feel. Guests can eat at the bar or enjoy sharing a large farm table. The casual atmosphere makes for a relaxing dining experience. Gift certificates are available.
