Village of Greenport Village Hall
311 3rd St, Greenport, NY 11944

Greenport became its own incorporated village in 1838, during its heyday as a major whaling port. Since then, it hasMore transformed from a small fishing community into a unique and welcoming tourist destination on the North Fork. This building is where the mayor of Greenport and other administrators work.

The mayor and five-member village board meet the third Thursday of the month and hold work sessions the second Thursday of the month at a meeting hall in the Greenport Fire department building across the street.
