Cross Sound Ferry provides passage between Orient, New York, and New London, Connecticut. The ferry company offers…More two types of service, a car ferry and a high-speed passenger-only ferry. The car ferries run hourly on most days with passage taking approximately 80 minutes. The Sea Jet is a passenger-only ferry that runs about six times a day and makes the trip to New London in about 40 minutes. Casino connections are offered between the New London terminal and Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun.
Cross Sound Ferry has a rewards program, which offers travelers a discount on future travel. Once in New London, the Cross Sound terminal offers ferry service to Block Island and Fisher's Island. Amtrack service to Boston is just steps away from the New London terminal. Ferry gift cards are also available.
The Cross Sound Deli is available at the Orient terminal. It serves breakfast sandwiches, pastries, wraps, beverages, salads, coffee and sanwiches made to order. The passenger ferries also offer small snack bars onboard.

Either way, this service center has been operating for well over 30 years at its present location. Locals and tourists alike depend on the service center for emergency vehicle service and routine maintenance.
The Orient Inn is a quaint 100 year old inn located on the Main Road in Orient, minutes away from the Cross Sound…More Ferry's Orient terminal and from the historic hamlet of Orient. Just east of area wineries, special accomodations can be made for on and off premise wine tastings.
Dinner is available upon request, as are boxed lunches. Orient Inn also caters special on-site events.

At Orient by the Sea, Bob Haase's family has been serving seafood and fresh local produce to locals and travelers…More since 1979. This last restaurant before the Cross Sound Ferry terminal at Orient Point offers classic seafood, sandwiches, salads, steaks and more to customers.
Orient By the Sea Marina has 95 slips, and a large charter fleet calls the marina home. Boaters can get gas, diesel, engine repair, showers and ice at the marina. Launch fee is $20. Call for more information.
