At a time when public school art programs are being cut all over the country, Greenport is fostering the artistic talents of its students and the results are extraordinary! The projects featured in the show are imaginative; the student work is outstanding; and learning about art is combined with learning about what inspires it--nature, fashion, or other artists.

Also-does this not take some of the wind out of the sails of those parents of students in Oyster Ponds who, for some reason or other, would rather their children attend Southold?
