ATV high speed chase that could of led to serious injury to the guy on the ATV or others. I guess…Read More that justifies their over 100k a year salaries.
I have seen Southold Town Police drive along side of a person on a ATV joking around with him. Waved and continued on his scenic drive on Oregon Road. Obviously a friend or a family member of the police officer.
How many other friends and families of Southold Town Police are breaking the law and getting away with it?
Examples: DWIs, Drug Dealing etc.

The whole "nanny state" concept of government telling grown adults they have to wear a seat belt is due to the nexus between the cost of medical care for unbelted people and the state's compelling interest in controlling costs is another form of creating government dependency and its over reach in our lives.

Businesses count on the tourists to make their money.
It's hard for a civil servant to understand that.
