Orient Beach State Park

Flag as Inappropriate

Orient Beach State Park features one of the most pristine maritime forests on the North Fork, with red cedar and blackjack oak trees and prickly pear cactus growing for miles in the tidal wetlands of a small strip of land jutting into Gardiners Bay. The park's expansive beach, park and playground area is located at the end of a two-mile paved road easily accessible by car from Route 25 with a park pass. Wooden swings lining the beach invite romance as the sun sets, and nature trails found throughout the area call for adventure. Kayak, canoe and bicycle rentals are also available.
