Greenport Public Schools

Greenport School is a K - 12 public school with a diverse student population. There is a large Spanish-speaking population residing in the village. Greenport School has the only football field on the North Fork and hosts the Porters, a high school football team made up of players from Greenport, Mattituck and Southold. Oysterponds Elementary School kids transfer to Greenport Junior High when they have finished tenure at the tiny elementary school in Orient.
