Just a short walk off the Shelter Island ferry from Greenport is the Chequit Inn. The rooms are spread out among three buildings and each has its own private restroom. Guests at the Chequit Inn can also use the facilities at the Ram's Head Inn, about a 10-minute drive away. The main building dates back to 1872 and has a full restaurant and bar. The Chequit's restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, and features seafood, salads, steaks and fresh produce. Seating is available both inside and outside. If you're looking for lighter fare, the lounge also serves food. A cafe menu is available between lunch and dinner.
