SHELTER ISLAND

• Shelter Island LibraryFriday Night Dialogues continues this week at 7 p.m. at the library with "A Life in Music," hosting BMI Records president and CEO, Del Bryant. Admission is free.

ORIENT

• Pig RoastThe Locals will perform at this year's pig roast benefitting the Orient Fire Department. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and $10 for kids. 

GREENPORT

• Bee TalkBeekeeper Chris Kelly will be at Floyd Memorial Library on Friday at 6 p.m. "My Life With Bees" is presented by the North Fork Audubon Society, and admission is free.

PECONIC

• Crafts for a CauseOsprey's Dominion is hosting craft vendors Saturday, with a portion of proceeds going to benefit autism research. 

CUTCHOGUE

• Dine and DashWaters Crest Winery is organizing a three-stop dining feast at Jedediah Hawkins, aMano, and back to the winery. Cost is $75 per person, and reservations are required. 

MATTITUCK
• Garden TourPrivate gardens in Cutchogue, New Suffolk and Mattituck will be on display Sunday, through the Garden Conservancy's Open Days Program. No reservations are required.
• Sweet Corn FestivalHarbes Family Farm on Sound Avenue in Mattituck is holding its 25th annual sweet corn celebration from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
• Bike What's LeftTwo bike rides – a 25-mile and 10-mile loop – will take off from Mattituck High School Saturday morning. Organized by the North Fork Environmental Council, the longer route will leave at 10 a.m., and the shorter one at 11 a.m. Reservations are required, and a $15 contribution is required for non-NFEC members.

JAMESPORT
• Opera in the VinesThe music of Puccini, Verdi, Mozart, and more will be performed at Dilberto Winery starting at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.

RIVERHEAD

• WoodworkingHosted by Hallockville Museum Farm, this series of courses taught by Tom Barry will include crafting handmade items utilizing "greenwoodworking." Courses are two hours long, and held in a series of Friday nights, Saturday mornings, or Sunday afternoons. Cost is $35.
• Suffolk Theater: On Friday night, SixGun, a tri-state rock-country band favorite, will perform at the Main Street theater. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Randy Jackson, of Zebra, will play on Saturday night, with tickets going for $28 in advance and $33 at the door. Sunday, Grammy-winning Gospel artist Karen Clark Sheard will be performing. Tickets come with a three-course meal and start at $70.
