Teddy Bear Picnic, Winery Music, Yoga Around the North Fork This Week

Here's a look at what's coming up this week on the North Fork:

- Yoga at the Giving Room: The Southold Mothers Club presents a Night of Relaxation at the Giving Room at 7:30 p.m., featuring restorative yoga and an introduction to meditation. Paula DiDonato, owner of the Giving Room, will lead the 90 minute session. No yoga experience necessary. Wear comfortable clothes.

- Get involved: The Southold Town board meeting on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. features public hearings both on zoning Plum Island and parking on County Road 48, two hot button issues.

- Teddy Bear Picnic: A Teddy Bear Picnic with Music Together, for all ages, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Veteran's Park in Mattituck. Join Lyrical Children to sing, dance and make music in the park.  Brings favorite teddy bears or other stuffed animals and a blanket as well as a snack. - Late Night Thursday with Noiz: Raphael Vineyard and Winery presents Noiz on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a glass of wine and dance the night away with Noiz; bring in a picnic dinner. Admission is free.

- Musical Showcase: It's a Live & Local Original Music Showcase at Coffee Pot Cellars in Cutchogue from 6 to 9 p.m. Kicking off Labor Day weekend, the event celebrates the best of what is local with four original singer songwriters, Eddie Ayala, Christine and Jim LoPiano, Chris Connolly and Larrin Gerard, of Coffee Pot Cellars.
