SHELTER ISLAND

• Friday Night DialoguesThe weekly discussion at the Shelter Island Library – open to the public, for free – hosts artist Eric Fischl at 7 p.m. on Friday.
• Gizmo GuysThis juggling show is fun for the family, taking place at the Shelter Island Library at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

GREENPORT

• CarnivalThe Greenport Fire Department's Relief Hose Co. and Phenix Hook & Ladder Co. will host its annual summer carnival from July 2 through July 6, opening at 6:00 p.m. nightly at the polo grounds on Moores Lane off Route 25.

CUTCHOGUE

• Car ShowThe Cutchogue Lions' Club is holding its 43rd Annual Classic Car Show on Sunday. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., over 275 classic cars will be on display, though at a new location this year: Peconic Bay Winery.

MATTITUCK

• Lawn SaleThis fundraiser for the Mattituck Historical Society starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and will feature a host of collectibles, jewelry, paintings, furniture and more. Admission is $1, and kids are free.
• Live MusicNina Etcetera will be playing at the Old Mill Inn in Mattituck on Saturday night, starting at 9 p.m.

RIVERHEAD

• Live MusicOn the Fourth of July, Martha Clara Vineyards will be hosting Two Man Acoustical Jam, winners of the 2012 Battle of the Bands at Hecksher Park. Music begins at 1 p.m. Over the weekend, Playn and Simple plays on Saturday at 2 p.m., and Six Gun plays on Sunday at 1 p.m.
• WoodworkingHosted by Hallockville Museum Farm, this series of courses taught by Tom Barry will include crafting handmade items utilizing "greenwoodworking." Courses are two hours long, and held in a series of Friday nights, Saturday mornings, or Sunday afternoons. Cost is $35.
• Suffolk TheaterThe downtown theater will be hosting a free musical performance on the Fourth of July, and a 'Red, White and Swing' Saturday Supper Club over the weekend, kicking off at 6 p.m. The Saturday show is $70 for the performance and dinner, or $30 ($35 at the door) for the show itself.
• Rebuild AthensFollowing a devestating fire at a downtown restaurant, a fundraiser will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Riverhead Project to benefit the Athens Grill. From 2 to 5 p.m., people are asked to being a dish and a donation.

WADING RIVER

• Family FestivalHeld on Route 25A in Wading River, this fundraiser for the Peconic Bay Medical Center will take place Thursday through Sunday, featuring amusement rides, food vendors and more.
