Cutchogue Lions Club 42nd Annual Antique Car Show Charity Fundraiser at Peconic Bay Winery

Car enthusiasts from far and wide participated in the 42nd Annual Antique Car Show Charity Fundraiser held at Peconic Bay Winery this past Sunday. Ballots were given out and votes were submitted and counted for favorite car. Bill Cossavella was pleased to win a trophy for his 1957 Bel Air, a car he and his father had worked on together over the years.  Another crowd pleaser was the Auburn factory reproduction of a 1936 Boattail Speedster. Jim Homan, the originator the Lion's Club car show was on hand to count ballots and oversee the show.  All funds generated are donated to local charities and the Guide Dog Foundation.

Sonny McKinney, car owner and longtime car enthusiast summed up his love for cars this way, "My first car cost more than my first house!"
