Local Riders: Tell Us How You Do at the Classic

Send photos and results from the Hampton Classic Horse Show.

Most local riders have been preparing all summer for the Hampton Classic Horse Show, a tradition on the South Fork. Now that it's upon us, we want to showcase how local equestrians did in the ring.

Whether you have a child Sunday's leadline class, or your loved one is showing in the hunter-jumper classes later in the week, we know you're proud. Here's how you can show us:

Email their photo
and results to Local Editor Taylor K. Vecsey at Taylor.Vecsey@patch.com for posts we'll be compiling on local riders. Be sure to tell us their name, which town the hail from, where they ride, the name of their mount, and how they did in their classes.

You can also post an announcement directly on our boards on Patch. Be sure to include their photo.

Remember, it doesn't matter if they walk away with a blue ribbon or not — let's celebrate their participation in the biggest horse show around.

Good luck to all the riders!
