The Greenport Ice Rink opened for its eighth season on Dec. 24 this year for the winter season at Mitchell Park. Public skating is open daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year, skating school is as follows:Saturday mornings from Dec. 29 - March 2, 9 to 9:45 a.m. ages 8 and up, 10 to 10:45 a.m. ages 7 and under.
Adult drop-in hockey sessions are Sundays from 6 to 8 p.m. ages 16 and up, Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ages 16 and up, Thursdays for "Old Time Hockey" from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. ages 35 and up.
ALL HOCKEY IS NON-CHECK. Adult hockey passes are available at rink on first few weeks of drop in hockey for $75 each.

- Skate rentals are now $5 instead of $2.
- Season passes are $80 for adults and $50 for seniors and children under 18. Children enrolled in the hockey program and skate school will pay half-price for a season pass.
