Who's Your Favorite Teacher?

What North Fork teacher has made a forever difference in your childrens' lives?

“Those who educate children well are more to be honored than they who produce them; for these only gave them life, those the art of living well.”

The words of Greek philosopher Aristotle resonate today: Teachers have a profound influence on the lives of their students and can leave lifelong legacies.

With back-to-school supplies popping up everywhere and educators readying their classrooms for the coming semester, Patch wants to know: Who is your favorite teacher on the North Fork?

Tell us in the comments section about the teacher who has made a difference in the lives of your children? What sets them apart? Why do they make school an ever more special place to be?

We'd like to profile many of these educators as the school year starts back up in the fall.
