For North Fork mom and Patch contributor Sandy Martocchia, schools need to break the mold of the same old tired bake-sale methods of fundraising.

"For a while, every school on North Fork was selling wrapping paper from the same company at the same time for fundraising," she said. "How crazy is that? What kind of other, more innovative ways can we use to raise money?"
