‘Ladies’ Night’ Draws Shoppers for Southold PTA

Organizer says first fundraiser of its kind was a success.

Southold PTA’s first-annual Ladies’ Night fundraiser at the Southold Elementary School Friday night drew about 200 people to browse and shop from 40 local vendors who were set up at the school from 7 to 10 p.m.

Organizer Erin Kaelin said that though she does not know how much money was raised yet, the PTA also received donations from several local businesses, notably North Fork Real Estate Inc., Founder's Tavern, Southold Plumbing, and Yogurt Expressions.

“The PTA is very happy with the turnout and support from the community and our neighboring PTA's,” Kaelin said. “There was a great reaction from the attendees and the vendors. We are looking forward to making the event even better next year.”
