On perhaps one of the most highly anticipated days of the year, students at Greenport High School are revved up for Homecoming on Friday.
The day is filled with pep rallies and fun. The Homecoming Parade kicks off at 6 p.m. in the parking lot behind the IGA, then heads down the lower part of First Street onto Front Street, down to Sixth Avenue and then to the football field.
The homecoming game takes place at 7 p.m., when the so-far undefeated Porters take on Center Moriches.
