Life Cycle Planning

A free lecture by wills, trusts and estates attorney Susan Bloom continues the Meet Our Members series of North Fork Reform Synagogue.  The senior population on our North Fork should be apprised of many legal issues arising in 'the golden years.'  This talk can start you on the examination your personal affairs might require. Ms. Bloom is associated with the New York law firm Patterson Belknap since 1991 and has been a partner since 1995. Prior to that she was assistant to Renee Roth, the surrogate of NY County.  Her practice embraces  estate planning and related estate and trust litigation as well as wills and trusts. Other areas include pre- and post-nuptial agreements; representation of beneficiaries, executors and trustees in Surrogate Court proceedings; undue influence on the elderly, elder abuse and fiduciary persons such as in the Brooke Astor case. This informal setting will allow time for some audience questions and a chance to get acquainted with NFRS members.
