The second-annual HARVEST: Wine Auction and Celebration of Long Island’s East End, presented by FOOD & WINE, presents a series of educational Wine Salons offering a behind-the-scenes look at viticulture and vinification on Long Island with some of the industry’s leading experts.  Tickets cost $25 and are available at http://harvesteastend.com/tickets.

What Grows Together Goes Together: Cooking the East End

Winemaker and restaurateur Tree Dilworth and chef Arie Pavlou of Comtesse Thérèse take you on an exploration of taste and place. Learn why the flavors of things that come from the same soil taste so good together. Use Long Island wines in dishes that incorporate East End fruits and vegetables, fish and meat for exceptionally fresh and delicious flavors.
