East End Arts Council Artist-In-Residence Maria Macedonio-Ritter will be the artist featured on Friday, June 3. She redefines the art of painting by eliminating the support for pigment. Her method consists of drying and peeling latex color fields. Ritter's work can be viewed on either side by exhibiting it in a nontraditional manner – away from the wall and hanging from the ceiling of the venue.
