Adult Boating Safety Course
The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 18-8 will teach this eight-week boating safety course. Participants will learn Coast Guard approved boat handling, navigation, boating emergencies, personal watercraft, legal and safety requirements, marine radio, and water sports.
Course materials must be purchased and reviewed before the first class. At the completion of a class, a certificate will be awarded. This certificate satisfies the New York State requirement to legally operate a Personal Watercraft. It also may help you obtain a discount on insurance.
