It's March Madness on the North Fork as the Greenport Student Council hosts a "Final Four Night" on Friday.
The three on three Final Four event, which will be held Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Greenport High School, will feature basketball teams from Greenport, Southold, Mattituck, and Shelter Island; the top team from each school will compete for the title of "North Fork Champ."
The night will include a three-point contest, a half court contest, and prizes. The event is open to the public; admission is $3.
Preliminary games were hosted at individual schools prior to the “final four” games and organized using supplied bracket format; one winner was selected from each school at end of preliminary games to represent the school.
