Pet of the Week: Time for These Kitties to Go Home

This is what these kittens have to say about moving to the adult cat room if they're not adopted.

There's no doubt that for many people, spending time with animals always seems to be like somewhat of a celebration.  It seems that they give you the gift of taking away your other worries, just with a look.

Getting the chance to spend time with six kittens currently residing at the Town of Southold Animal Shelter gave me this gift when I recently had the chance to hang out and play with them.

As you can see in their photo session with shelter office manager, Gabby Glantzman, these babies aged 12 weeks through 5 months are simply beautiful. Yet since they’re growing quickly, they’ll soon have to move to the adult cat room -- unless they're adopted.

Spending a good amount of time with these kittens allowed me to learn their different personalities; such as Ling, who is a sweet and docile lapcat, Cheri and Cassandra, who are playful and energetic, and the tabbies who are sweet but shy.

If you're considering the adoption of a younger cat, stop by the shelter today so you can make your home their next move.
