Pet of the Week: Three Sweet Kitties

Three gentle felines at the Town of Southold Animal Shelter await loving forever homes.

For this week's Pet of the Week we're introducing three wonderful cats: Norman, Mae, and last but certainly not least, Louise.

All being adopted out earlier in their lives from the Town of Southold Animal Shelter, and after spending many years with families, these gentle-natured felines have all been ill-fated as they were returned to the shelter for reasons such as "allergies", and "no longer able to care for them."

Office Manager Gabby Glantzman speaks volumes of how much you'll like these sweet kitties once you meet them. "All three of these cats are so, so, so nice," she said.

Not looking or acting a bit their age, these three gentle felines are all seniors at ages 12, 11, and 10 years old.

Whether adopted together or separately, Norman, Mae, and Louise, all truly appreciate the company of other cats.

As my daughter did, you'll probably notice that Pet of the Week once again features more than just one animal.  This is due to the continuous flow of homeless animals coming into the shelter, causing the need for the number of adoptions to responsible and loving homes to go up.

It's all the more reason to visit either the Town of Southold Animal Shelter or your local shelter today, to find out if you were meant to extend your family with a special cat or dog.
