Young and dashing, this Pet of the Week highlights a charming pitbull mix named Billy R.
Previously picked up by the Town of Southold Animal Shelter when he was found running loose on the North Fork, Billy R. now sits waiting patiently for a new family to come adopt him.
According to shelter office manager, Gabby Glantzman, this boy has so much to offer his future family. "Billy R. is incredibly playful and he loves, loves, loves, all people," she said.
But Glantzman doesn't stop there, as she explained how he enjoys being close to those around him. "He is a real cuddler," she said.
Billy R. would do best in a home as the only pet. But it seems that he may do well with a younger female canine as a sister -- a meet and greet at the shelter would help to see if this arrangment would work.
Stop by the shelter today to see if Billy R. is the right one for you.
And don't forget to tune in to watch Billy R.'s buddies play there best in Puppy Bowl IX, Sunday February 3, at 3:00pm.
