Don't Let Angel's Beauty Fool You Into Thinking She's Happy

A beautiful kitty at the Town of Southold Animal Shelter is becoming increasingly depressed in a shelter atmosphere.

While enjoying the incredible shots of this Pet of the Week, taken by 's office manager Gabby Glantzman, it's really important to understand one thing — gorgeous model Angel is miserable at the shelter.

It may seem that this pretty kitty is lucky because she currently has her own suite, but it's actually because she's becoming depressed because she is craving more human interaction.

"She's a great cat who gets along with other cats, but she's really sad being at the shelter because she needs more one-on-one time with people," Glantzman said. "Angel loves to be petted."

Shelter employee Mary Johnson explained how Angel also loves to converse with her humans, "She's a talker and will definitely let you know when she wants something."

Angel was adopted as a kitten and was returned when her loving pet parent became ill.  Now 8 years old (although not showing it one bit), this special girl is in desperate need of a loving home.
