State Sends Reps To Help Southold Sandy Victims

Still feeling the impacts of Superstorm Sandy? Help is on the way.

Victims of Superstorm Sandy can seek assistance on Wednesday in Southold.

According to Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell, the New York State Department of Financial Services' Mobile Command Center will be at Town Hall Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. to meet with residents.

Trained staff will be onhand to assist homeowners and business owners affected by Superstorm Sandy to apply for recovery aid approved by the federal government last week. To apply for housing or business recovery assistance via the internet, click here.
