Southold Town Board Preview: Website Work, Town Beach Repair, Sidewalks on Factory Avenue

Here's a look at the issues on the table at the Southold Town Board work session beginning at 9 a.m. and the regular 7:30 meeting on Tuesday.

  • Lloyd Reisenberg, a member of Southold Town’s in-house website improvement committee, will present to the board an outline for a new that members of the committee and the board have been developing. Stay tuned for a public input forum on the new design, said Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell. “After public input is included in the format, we are going to issue a [request for proposals] to all available companies to implement the new design,” the supervisor said.

  • After Southold Town Planners Kristy Winser and Tamara Arzt recently left the planning department, Southold Town plans to appoint planners-in-training Alyxandra Sabatino and Brian Cummings Tuesday night. The two will work with planning director Heather Lanza and principal planner Mark Terry.
