The news comes after Southold Town Police on Thursday morning were called to Russell’s house in Cutchogue for a family disturbance, Capt. Martin Flatley said. No arrests were made.

Russell was elected Southold Town Supervisor in 2005 and is seeking a third term. Prior to that he worked as a town assessor. He is married with two children.
