Question: Should Southold Town Sell Certain Parcels of Land?

Should the town spend tax funds to fix pieces of land that might be a liability or sell them off?

The question was raised by Southold Town Supervisor Scott Russell on Tuesday: If the town needs to spend money to fix things like bulkheading on certain remote pieces of land in town to thwart lawsuits, why not declare it as a surplus and sell it off?
