Police: North Fork Roads Closed Due to Flooding

Police close five North Fork Road as of Monday afternoon.

The Southold Town Police Department has closed the following roads that are currently impassable due to flooding as of Monday at about 1 p.m.:

New Suffolk Avenue at Moores Lane, Cutchogue

First Street and Grathwohl Road, New Suffolk

Main Bayview Road at Williamsburg Drive, Southold

Route 25 between Laurel Avenue in Southold and Albertson Lane in Greenport

Route 25 at East Marion-Orient Causeway

Police would like to remind residents that Southld Town Supervisor Scott Russell has declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Southold and that travel is restricted to public safety, first responders, and those seeking safe shelter.
