Oct. 28: Get Scared, Know the Issues, Don't Be a Bully

More things to do and know today on the North Fork.

The end of October means plenty of Halloween fun, a few more days of breast cancer awareness initiatives and a new group dedicated to prevent youth bullying and substance abuse. We also want you to hit us with your best fall foliage shots.

1. Southold Free Library holds its traditional Halloween party for kids in grades four through six this afternoon after school from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. Be prepared for caramel apples and scary stories. Call 631-765-2077 for more information.

4. Cross Sound Ferry has spent the entire month raising funds and awareness to help fight breast cancer. The company was honored yesterday by representatives of Eastern Long Island Hospital. Stay tuned for the story.
