Nov. 1: Monday Means Election Prep Time

You've washed your hands — and probably your glittered hair — of all things Halloween this past weekend. Now it's election time. Here's what you need to know today:

1. Look for the last installment of Voter's Guide 2010 later today and find out where to vote and, more importantly, where to party after is all is said and done on Election Day Tuesday.

3. It's opening day for scallop season, and baymen of the Peconic are gearing up to harvest some kind of delectable shellfish, which thankfully have been replenished over recent years due to restocking efforts. Stay tuned for the story.
