Election 2011: Complete Poll Results
Here are the results of every election-related poll posted over the past month on North Fork Patch.
With only a day to go before voting takes place during Election 2011, these poll results might give you a general sense of public opinion on who should govern locally and what issues matter the most.
As of Monday at noon, the closest races are for Southold Town Tax Receiver, with incumbent George Sullivan leading challenger Bill Edwards by 11 votes, and for Town Justice, with incumbent Rudolph Bruer leading challenger Brian Hughes by 10 votes. Supervisor Scott Russell has a lead of 18 votes over Democrat Bob Meguin, and Republican candidates for Town Trustee and Council are leading their Democratic challengers by wide margins.
