Cutchogue New Suffolk Library Budget Passes Overwhelmingly

Voters approve a slight tax increase Tuesday night.

Residents of Cutchogue and New Suffolk have spoken — they support their library.

The Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library's $1.47 million budget passed with flying colors Tuesday night.

The spending increase translates into an estimated library tax increase of approximately 1.66 percent for Cutchogue and 1.68 percent for New Suffolk residents of the library district. This will cover expenses including books, programs, administrative accounts, and building, operation and equipment accounts.
