Westhampton Beach Man Charged With DWI in Laurel
Police said they stopped a motorist for failing to maintain his lane and found him to be intoxicated.
A Westhampton Beach man was cuffed after police charged him with driving while intoxicated in Laurel late Sunday night.
According to Southold Town police, Eduardo D. Monzon, 33, of Westhampton Beach, was arrested on Route 25 and Franklinville Road in Laurel on Sunday at 10:05 p.m.
Police said Monzon was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Route 25 in Laurel and was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor.
Monzon was transported to Southold police headquarters for processing and to await arraignment.
