Southold Town Police Charge Four With DWI Over Weekend

The following information was supplied by the Southold Town Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

• Andrew Stulsky, 39, of New Suffolk, was charged with driving while intoxicated by drugs on June 17 at 3:18 a.m. after police stopped him for a traffic violation on Westphalia Road in Mattituck, police said. Stulsky was arrested, transported to headquarters in Peconic where he was processed and held for arraignment.

• Mariusz Pawelski, 29, of Mattituck, was charged with DWI on June 16 at 9:01 p.m. after he was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Route 48 and Sound Avenue in Mattituck, police said. Pawelski failed to stop with traffic for the stoplight and crashed into another vehicle, police said. Pawleski was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. He suffered minor injures from the accident and was transported to by members of the Mattituck Fire Department Rescue Squad. Pawleski was treated and released from the hospital and was transported to police headquarters for processing.

• Brian Kelly, 39, of Riverhead, was charged with DWI on June 17 at 8:27 p.m. after police stopped him for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Route 48 near the intersection of Route 48 and Bridge Lane in Cutchogue, police said. Kelly was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and transported to police headquarters to be processed and held pending arraignment in the morning.

• Jedreys Apoloniusz, 64, of Aquebogue, was charged with DWI on June 17 at 9:15 p.m. after police stopped him for a traffic violation on Route 25 in Mattituck, police said. He was found to be intoxicated and was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held overnight for arraignment in the morning.
